The Feline Historical Museum is often busy with scheduled events in the museum, or events that take us away to have a traveling booth display somewhere in the USA.

And, on occasion, we've been known to have cats wandering around the museum for several days. Our past schedule has featured Maine Coon, Persians, Ragdolls, Orientals, Ocicats, and even Siberians. Keep an eye on our calendar for a chance at a "kitten fix" day.

Effective August 1, 2023, our museum hours will be 10am-4pm, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please check our calendar below for any temporary closures. We greatly appreciate the support of our visitors during the COVID-19 shutdown, and hope you add us to your future excursion plans.

February 2023

• February 13: The Museum will re-open to visitors, Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.
• February 20: Closed for observance of President's Day

March 2023

• March 17: Museum CLOSED
• March 31: Museum CLOSED

May 2023

• May 29: Museum CLOSED for Memorial Day

July 2023

• July 3-4: Museum CLOSED For July 4th Holiday
• Saturday, July 22: The Museum will hold a CHRISTMAS IN JULY sale. Time 10am-3pm. Numerous previously-owned Christmas items will be on sale: Lenox, Possible Dreams, Bill Ball, etc.

October 2023

• October 13: The Museum will be closed for set up at the CFA International Cat Show, I-X Center, Cleveland, OH
• October 14-15: The Museum will have a booth at the CFA International Cat Show at the I-X Center, Cleveland, OH

2022

March 2022

• March 10-21: The Museum will be closed
• March 24-28: Museum will be closed to allow booth attendance at the Gardner, KS cat show.

April 2022

• April 15: Closed in observance of Good Friday

May2022

• May 30: Closed in observance of Memorial Day

June 2022

• October 4: The Museum will re-open. Hours are 11am-3pm, Monday-Friday
• October 11: Museum will be closed to observe Columbus Day.

• July 6: The Museum will re-open. Summer hours are 11am-3pm, Monday-Friday
• July 15: Museum will close at 2pm on Thursday, July 15th
• July 16: The Museum will be CLOSED on Friday, July 16th

• January 11-12: Booth at Houston Cat Club show, George R. Brown Convention Center, Houston, TX
